The Kindergarten Years

The first kindergarten I went to was the wrong place for me. TV was considered to be bad for kids so the parents were told not to let their children watch it. However, as my parents noticed how quickly I learned reading and writing by watching "Sesame Street" they let me watch it of course.

Of course I never forgot to tell the other children in kindergarten how great watching TV was and that they were missing a really cool thing and that they had to convince their parents that they MUST let them watch it. They didn't get what I meant. They were strange kids anyway - boring and not creative at all.

When they drew pictures they drew houses or flowers, not dinosaurs, skulls and spaceships like REAL KIDS. And they spent their time with boring things like paper folding while there were so many fun things to do like building dams at the river and tearing them down afterwards.

One day I got the idea to have a pool party and flooded the basement of the kindergarten. I guess that was too much. I was kicked out of kindergarten!
