This trip was primarily for my family to see me since I hadn't visited in so long, and so that they could meet Fin, my then fiance (now husband). He was introduced to my southern roots, which scared him a little, being a boy from downtown Detroit. He's handling it better these days, my grandparents really like him, and so does my dad, which is even more impressive.
