In 1992 I entered the art of Soo Bahk Do. I trained under the guise of Sa Bom Nim Paulo Amaral for a year. In 1993, I physically stopped training to start a new path in motherhood. Although my training ceased, my support for the art continued through my husband’s training. In 1996, I returned to my training under the tutelage of Sa Bom
Nim Stinehour. In 2001 I tested for my Cho Dan while pregnant with my second son. I continued to train until 2 weeks prior to his birth. In 2007, I tested for the rank of E Dan. I continue to be an active member of our organization. I enjoy training with my family (Sa Bom Nim Stinehour, Jo Kyo Stinehour and Christian) as well as my extended family of the Moo Duk Kwan.
