possibility

* I have the possibility to go to England next year.
*A degree in English will give you the possibility to find a better job.

Unlike German Möglichkeit as well as the cognates of possibility in many other languages (e.g., French avoir la possibilité), the word does not collate with have, give, or get in English, and is not normally followed by an infinitive:

There is a possibility (that) I will go to England next year.
There is a possibility of my going to England next year.
It is possible that I will go to England next year.
(Are you going to England next year?) Possibly.

The meaning of possibility is best rendered by opportunity or chance, however:

I have the opportunity to go to England next year.
I have the opportunity of going to England next year.
I have the chance to go to England next year.

Usually a simple modal verb will suffice:

I can go to England next year.
