SORRY - The page you are looking for has been moved  -  however it does still exist  -  so let us help you find it:

Dear Visitor,

We are very sorry but the page you were looking for has been moved - but don't worry it has NOT been deleted! The reason is that we have moved our entire website to a new web hosting server (why?) and although the page does still exist it now has a new address ("URL").    Find out the reasons here

What Should You Do To Find The Page That You Require?

1/  You can either go directly to our home page at our new web host at  http://www.mds975.co.uk  and look for what you want from the various catagories and headings or the site map.......

2/  OR...  Have a look at the catagory headings in the table below that will link you directly to one of the main sections of our website.  You should be able to find your general subject of interest quite easily from the list below and then find your page within that section......

3/  But Don't Panic!... If you cannot find what you are looking for please contact us here and we will be happy to help you find the page that you require.

YOU can help us too!  Here's how: If you arrived at this page by following a link or recommendation from another website it would help us greatly if, once you have found the page that you require, you would contact the owner or "webmaster" of that website or web page and politely ask if they could correct the address ("URL") of that link or links. We thank you very much if you can do this as it is extremely helpful for everyone! Thank you.

Why Have We Changed The Location Of Our Web Pages?

That's a good question. We're glad you asked!

When we started MDS975 we used some free web space that was provided by our internet service provider (ISP). This free web space had the rather unwieldy address of http://www.arar93.dsl.pipex.com/mds975/index.html - not very snappy, but it worked!

A few months later Mike Brown of the website MB21 helpfully suggested that we should obtain a proper domain name, which he duly arranged. The domain chosen was www.mds975.co.uk and if entered into a web browser directed web users to
our website at http://www.arar93.dsl.pipex.com/mds975/index.html

Initially we thought we'd only have a handful of pages, but the site grew larger than first anticipated and so a second piece of free web space was used to expand the site, and then a third and then a fourth! All the links within our website had to be arranged to seamlessly integrate the pages between these bits of free web space so the site appeared to be a whole.

Eventually it was decided that we must bring together what is effectively four websites and host the whole of our MDS975 website onto one piece of dedicated web space. This would make the site easier to manage and also provide a much neater looking web address for each individual page.
So, to take one example, instead of this URL
http://www.arar93.dsl.pipex.com/mds975/Content/radmem.html for our radio page, we now have a shorter and more familiar style of address for that page: http://www.mds975.co.uk/Content/radmem.html.  All the other pages will be similar.

One downside is that we have had to manually change all the links and images and other content of many dozens of individual pages. This has been extremely time consuming!! The other downside of integrating and moving what is effectively four separate websites to a new web host is that the previous bits of web space have had to be cleared and therefore all old page URLs are no longer used.

The unfortunate effect of all this is that there are now many websites that have, over the years, kindly linked to various pages on the MDS975 website using the old addresses that start http://www.arar93.dsl.pipex.com/mds975 or http://www.avfo86.dsl.pipex.com/mds975 or http://www. avav08.dsl.pipex.com/mds975 or http://uk.oocities.com/mds975/masts/txindex.html etc. These links will no longer go the the intended page - which is exactly why you are reading this!

We have put this page up in place of all the old pages in order to help a little. If we had not done this you would simply have an error message "Page Not Found" with no clue as to what happened, for what reason, or where the page had gone!  So we do hope this helps you.

However this page cannot remain indefinitely and will one day disappear altogether. For this reason may we plead for a little help?

Here's how you can help: If you arrived at this page by following a link or recommendation from another website it would help us greatly if, once you have found the page that you require, you could contact the owner or "webmaster" of that website or web page and politely ask if they could correct the address ("URL") of that link or links. We thank you very much if you can do this as it is extremely helpful for everyone! Thank you.

Well, we hope you find what you want. Once again please contact us if you need some assistance via our contact page.

Once again we apologise for this inconvenience.

Thank you for your time.
