                   Current Writing Projects
     I am currently working on two projects. The first one of course is Words of Wisdom. I will be proof reading the author's proofs soon. I am very happy with Publish America. They are working closely with me to make Words of Wisdom a success. They recommend that authors prepare ahead of time for things such as press releases and creating this web page.Word of Wisdom is due to be published between September 2003 and January 2004.
     The other project I am working on is a manuscript which I am currently calling Pathways of the Heart. It is a collection of love poems. I will keep you all posted about my writing activities. God bless you and thank you. Please come back soon.
    Welcome to my poetry page. My name is Marvin D. Schrebe and I love poetry. This site contains poetry I have written as well as information about my writing career. It also has a link to Publish America, the company that just agreed to publish my new book Words of Wisdom. If you would like to order a copy you can use the link at the bottom of this page. I appreciate your support.
     Words of Wisdom is an anthology of inspirational poems I wrote two years ago. It is a celebration of life. It encourages the reader to think positively about all situations. There is no situation from which we will draw no benefit. Our lives are full of lessons. Problems can be blessings in disguise if we reframe the problem and look for the positives. For example let us consider breaking up with somebody you love. Yes it is painful but you are guaranteed to grow from that pain. Every cloud has a silver lining. I truly believe that. Words of Wisdom is an application of that belief. I do hope you enjoy it.
Let Us Never Forget

Let us never forget our history;
Nor on it turn our back;
May we always remember the  holocaust;
And the  Pearl Harbor sneak attack.

Let us not forget  Nagasaki
Nor the Hiroshimo aftermath;
May we never use the bomb again;
May  nobody ever tread its path.

We  need not be a Christian;
To know the story told of old;
That Jesus came to show the way;
To follow the morals that He told.

History teaches us many lessons;
How often do we learn;
Let us keep the lessons close to mind;
And perhaps to them we will not return.
