Re:                    Selling of Workbooks

        Complains from parents reached this Office regarding the sale of workbooks. Please be reminded of the following:

1. Workbooks are solely for instructional purposes only and not for any other purposes; they should serve as supplementary materials to facilitate the teaching-learning process.

2. They should be sold at prices affordable to the students.

3. Purchase of workbooks should be VOLUNTARY on the part of the students and should not be made as projects in certain subject areas. In case, where students can not afford to buy workbooks, they should be given alternative projects/activities. The teacher should devise ways in which the students will not lay behind in the daily lessons due to no-purchase of workbooks.
