I've been kinda lack about this all I seem to have done this week is work and sleep though. Early starts ultra busy days; colleague off on hols, stock-take weekend, other colleague off sick(allegedly), lots off stuff going on in our work.

I'm apparently a credit to my job role (EPOS) AND a credit to the admin dept!!!!! YAY Me.

Despite reservations (I'm too quiet) I've been put on the MDI course (Managment.Developement.Initaitive) Lovely considering others on the course include; Dopey,Freaky,Creepy and Pram-face!!!! Yes you can now become a supervisor do so badly and alienate the staff so that you're moved to a different department where you create so much havoc you loose your position and get banned from ever setting foot within that department again and at this point other managers have to be moved around because no-one wants to work with you. Although WITH is a misleading concept. But, you still get to do MDI...reservations about the quiet person though!! Though one that always works her arse off, excells at her own stuff has trained countless other stores in including managers and gets phone calls asking for her whenever something comes up those people don't get. Who willingly helped other depts over Christmas rather than stropping about the place. Deals calmly with obnoxious engineers and even more obnoxious customers instead of garnering record levels of complaints from them over rudeness and ineptitude. Yeah you got to watch that quiet person

Listing all the things we got to do and my colleague (who's on holiday!) and I are sitting there going know it. do it, sorted... shows how the course isn't really relative to every dept.

First task is to buddy up with another dept to deal with waste! terrific not got enough work to do means despite no extra pay we get to take on extra work and drag ourselves into the dump even when on holiday to attend meetings and courses. Oh joy.

Not even guarantee of promotion at the end because by law jobs have to be advertised to everyone in store. Bullshit. Don't know how he said that with straight face. Total doggy poo. H&L supervisor job just gone; NOT advertised ~ I would have applied. Newspapers job just gone NOT advertised know three people who really wanted it NOT including guy that got it.

BUT decided against applying for job I was going to anyway. Looks good on CV maybe. Thought manager not happy if gets asked for a reference from me after putting me one this course and if I didn't get it there'd be a bad atmos. Does NOT mean I wont be trying for any future jobs that come up. Sick of being a lowly paid skivvy.

THOUGHT about nano story. Better than nothing LOL. Next week thinking of actually writting something

SISTER is emigrating to New Zealand. Now offical cause she's got her plane tickets and everything. Wierd. Very wierd. I'm buying a coupla cabinets off her. Going to be strange, she's leaving beginnning of April which isn't long at all. Just when we're actually getting along too!

Tomorrow ~ Is another day. One where I'm off work and acan actually do mee stuff, rather than zombie-girl lurching.

Oh and one more rant. Amazon. GRRRR. GRRRR. Ordered stuff 14Dec. But came this week FEB but okay I thought it's cause I went for free postage option and hubby ordered crappy footie dvds that took time. Equable mee. Monday ~ One dvd arrives (hubbies). Tuesday ~ one dvd (his), one cd (his), 2 books (mine) arrive. Tomorrow ~ one book expected (mone). BUT one dvd (mine) and something (his) delayed at least another week!!!!!! Seriously miffed mee. So much for the m not wanting to make extra parcels I could have had my stuff before Christmas they were all in stock then! I wanted to watch Blackpool

Talking of watching things; Heros is starting here on 19th Feb!
