post-nano has involved lots of lazing about LOL and letting hubby access to the computer.

Todays avoiding the housework resulted in me watching dvds Save the Last Dance 1 & 2

ok - watchable
First one seemed disjointed in places like you could see where different sketches were stitched together. Could have developed the relationships between characters a bit more. Guy was a bit to good to be true, lofty goals, well read, good moves and very focused on helping her re-find herself. Noticed he was shorter than her except for the kiss scene... LOL
Also how come her father waited in the hallway while boyfriend could barge in and on stage even?! Liked that the single mum was someone making the best of it and seemed to have a positive homelife with the gran.

Second ~ thought Stiles came accross as a bit cold but Miko was too much the ballerina! Story is like the reverse of the first. In the first he does everything for her in this she must give up everything for him. Didn't like the way he gave her no support almost mocking her aims. And the big tension what was that? she found out who his mother was not that he'd been sleeping around or something. He's a drop-out but gets invited as guest lecturer? don't get that at all. Why the tension with Cindy too that was never explained.

So prefer the first if only cause the kookie roomate annoyed me.

One day soon I'm gonna watch a good film....I hope
