Watched Keanu in Constantine last night. I'm soo up-to-date with films it's sad!
Actually I enjoyed it
so no major whinning. Good for a comic book adaption, never heard of the character before. No great connection between characters but with the pace and sketched backgrounds it wasn't essential to the film. Liked the fact that it wasn't the instant lust of other films but rather the hint of a future relationship between the two leads. Interesting, I'd watch a sequel though don't think it was set up for one. The Gabriel actress was really cool IMO and the Constantine role suited Keanu who's cute enough but not the best of actors, for a comic-book character who holds everything and is more defeatist than angst driven, the woodness works.
Why does amazon insist on recommending me books by authors I've rated as totally not interested in? It's irksome.
Nano-story contribution = zero words
declaration of war needed.
Christmas preperation = woeful
hubby STILL hasn't helped me get the stuff down from the cupboard. Connie ~ the Christmas Conifer (plants need names!) has joined the household and that's it.
Prezzie buying = pityful. BAH HUMBUG. hubby has a dvd which he picked, nephew has a bubble-bath dalek (as do I cause it was on offer LOL) and some dvds, g.aunt has socks. WOW last of the big spenders
I'm ashamed of mee.
Oh and have to go get ready for work now. But hey I'm off weekend SO it's mad flat decoing, frantic prezzie think-up time, foodlist writting ready for Tuesday's shop, ooo and desperate to get my hair done Tuesday too cause it's miserable. I hate hairdressers and right now it shows too.
