The Donnas are loved, and this album makes the TOTALLY worthy of it. By far, Get Skintight is the album that's most packed with emotions - and rockin' tunes to go along with them! Not only are the songs great, but now The Donnas have added more creative effects than ever, including a zipper, police sirens, laser beam effect sounds and probably more that I have yet to hear!
Donna A.'s vocals are incredible this time around, as her touring has paid off from their first official tour. Her voice totally shines in their cover of "Too Fast For Love" originally performed by Motley Crue. "You Don't Wanna Call", "Searchin' The Streets" and "Skintight" are classic Donnas songs, and are sure not to dissapoint the dedicated Donnas fan. There are 14 tracks on this masterpiece, and all are incredible! Each Donna performs her ultimate best (as always!) and their album is pink!! That's a plus for me, anyways. The booklet features fun pictures of The Donnas and friends and fans on tour or just hangin' out and being themselves. As a wonderful topper, it also includes lyrics!!
The sound quality has more bass this time, and the vocals are louder as well. Great for blasting in the car or the shower or anytime, actually!!! And no, it will never come out of your cd or record player!
Our Donnas have done it YET again, and we love them for it. Get the cd, memorize all the songs, and I will see you at the next concert!!
