If you are here, you are probably looking to submit your site to the BBQ ring or - just wanna know what it IS (you nosey thing, you!). It's a system that links together all websites that are about the same subject - here - THE DONNAS (what else IS there?!) so you don't have to deal w/search engines or feverishly hunt down Donnas sites on links pages! SO - here's all the information you need to SUMBIT. Mwahaha... If you've got a Donnas fansite, and you're pretty darn proud of it's original content and up to date info about our muses, then you're in! For now, I'm just keeping the ring open to whole sites about The Donnas that contains things like audio, bios, pictures etc., etc., (but those aren't the guidelines, just examples) - perhaps in the near future I will accept sites that feature other content as well. But for now, let's see how well the fansites go! Joining Walter's BBQ is simplistic (finally!). Here's how you go about it: 1. Here's a tip: You might wanna print out these instructions or open another browser window, since following these instructions will take you to another page - where you need to get everything done. 2. Follow this link to the Walter's BBQ - Where Everything's Well Done! Ring Hub or as a plain ol' URL for the simple folk: (http://nav.webring.yahoo.com/hub?ring=waltersbbqwheree). 3. Click the "Join this Ring" link on the right hand side of your screen. 4. If you are not signed in to Yahoo! you will be taken to the sign in page. If you are already a Yahoo! member, then sign in, by all means, and skip to step 8. If you are not a member of Yahoo! already then please click the "Sign Me Up" button to get a user name and password. 5. Fill out the Yahoo! form and submit it. 6. Click the "Return to Webring" button. 7. If you do not see a Walter's BBQ ring form then please click the "Join this Ring" link as before. 8. Fill out the Walter's BBQ form and submit it. If you already have a Webring navagation bar on your website, then congratulations! - you have successfully submitted your site to Walter's BBQ Webring. If you do not yet have a navagation bar then continue with the instructions below, por favor. 9. To get your navigation bar click the "My Rings" link in the top right hand corner of your screen. 10. You should see "Walter's BBQ - Where Everything's Well Done!" listed under your rings. Click the "get nav bar" link next to it. 11. Copy and paste the code onto your page (the one you just submitted to the webring) where you'd like it to be - don't forget to center it; it doesn't do that automatically! Please paste it on the page you'd like people to see first when they enter your site, like your splash or main page! 12. Well Done! You have successfully joined the world of Donnas!
