Meadow Way Chapel Football Club Code Of Practice
Meadow Way Chapel Football Club is a
"Church"
football club supported by
Meadow Way Chapel.
"The Main focus of all players who have a personal relationship with
Jesus Christ is to acknowledge this fact by being
Aware that they are representing Him to all those they come into contact
with", be that on or off of the football pitch.
As a Christian based team it is also our mission to provide an active
witness to Non-Christians both within MWC FC and other clubs.
The aim of Meadow Way Chapel Football Club is to provide a competitive
level of football whilst maintaining
the priority of a good team spirit throughout the squad.
Meadow Way Chapel Football club will be made up by both Meadow Way
Chapel members and non-members
all of whom agree to adhere to the club rules and constitution.
Code Of Practice For Squad/Team Selection For Match Days
The squad for the given match shall consist of a maximum of fourteen
players and will be selected by the
management prior to the Saturday’s game.
From the fourteen selected players, the starting line up will then be
decided upon.
The selections will not only be based upon an individuals ability but
more importantly the individuals attitude
And commitment to the club and rest of the team.
Unlike previous seasons simply being a member or associate of Meadow Way
Chapel does not guarantee a
starting place in the team. This is not an attempt to undermine the
values imposed on the club as
Christian/Church based team, but a decision made upon the grounds that
each member of the squad should
be
given the same right and equal opportunity to play for the team.
During matches as far as it is reasonably possible all substitutes shall
receive a minimum of 20 minutes play,
however it should be understood that there might be occasions where this
is not possible.
Code Of Practice For Match Days
Players are to arrive within ample time prior to the match kick-off
(9.45am at the latest).
Full team strip is to be worn. Different shorts/socks are not
permitted.
Players are representing Meadow Way chapel during matches and their
behaviour should demonstrate the same.
As
the emphasis of the club is on attitude, commitment and teamwork, loss
of discipline/foul language in any
form will not be tolerated and all players should be aware that these
actions will result in substitution and may
even lead to suspension.
Match fees must be paid on the day of the game. Players who
consistently fail to pay fees may be dropped from
the squad until such time that outstanding fees are paid; the limit for
outstanding fees is £10.00.
The captain/managers word on any issue is final.
