Half time Score (2-1)

The second half kicked off and within moments Keith Halley had added his second and Meadow Ways third
(3-1).  Controversy struck moments later when once again Keith clean through was tugged back and the referee pointed to the spot…  The captain Neil Johns took the resulting penalty only to see it saved by Kings keeper.  But this only proved to egg on the attacking Meadow Way players and goals were added by Neil Johns (4-1) and a further two by Keith Halley (6-1).  The scoring was rounded off by Paul Southgate minutes from full time when another break down the right saw a cross pulled back to Paul on the edge of the box, although two chances were required he struck sweetly home to seal an emphatic (7-1) win for the Silvers.  The match also saw some very impressive individual performances the most being that of Stephen Miller at left back who commanded the left hand side of the pitch throughout the second half.
