Game three of the season saw the visit of SC Broadland to Sloughbottom Park and also former keeper Nathan Ryan.  Meadow Way fielded an almost full strength squad for this must win game, with the only noticeable absentees being Paul Southgate and Asa barber.

The game kicked off and Meadow Way passed and moved relatively well, with both teams counteracting each others attacks and at half way through the first half the game was still 0 - 0.  Then on the break SC Broadland scored the opening goal, leaving the silvers a little stunned
(0 - 1)  Shortly before half time Meadow Ways were dealt another blow when captain Neil Johns was forced to leave the field via Ambulance with a broken wrist following a 50/50 challenge in the heart of midfield.

Half Time (0 - 1)

Meadow Way made two changes at half time with Trevor Perry replacing Neil Johns and Matt Crowhurst on for John East.  Meadow Way continued to push forward looking for an equalising goal and their efforts were rewarded when Neil Stangroom chipped an inviting ball over the last man and Andy Starkings stole in to lob the advancing keeper
(1 -1).  Alas just when Meadow Way thought they had secured their first point of the season, they were caught napping and SC Broadland broke and despite Nick Perks getting a touch on the ball it rolled home into the net (1 - 2).

This was how it remained until full time and leaves Meadow Way with no points from 3 games.

Final Score (1 - 2)
