There was lipstick on her teeth.
He knew that if he had stopped to really *think* about it, the reason this seemed odd would be readily apparent. After all, he himself had seen lipstick on teeth before. His own teeth, after a particularly *interesting* encounter with his sometimes-pliable girlfriend. But he wasn't quite ready to ponder the situation. Because...
There was lipstick on Lana's teeth. Pink lipstick.
But the lipstick on Lana's mouth was burgundy.
He turned his attention to the blonde wrinkling her nose at Clark, laughing at the clearly lame joke.
And Whitney saw burgundy on white enamel.
