This is the pioneering group which had its first semester classes
February to July 2001. Its second semester started August 13 and will
end in December, 2001.

Batch 2 Regular
This group is a combination of the first batch of pre-MBA and the qualified
entrants for the second semester which had its orientation last September 3.
The orientation attended by all the teachers, the MBA Coordinator, the Vice
Rector for Academic Affairs and the Dean of the graduate school discussed
the academic policies and procedures of the graduate school to clarify
matters before the start of classes.
PRE MBA Batch 2
This is the second batch of Pre-MBA which had its orientation last Sept. 11.
Classes started Sept. 20 and will end in December, 2001.The pre-MBA students
are those applicants to the MBA program whose professional background is not
on business. To prepare them for the regular MBA, they are required to take
Accounting, Marketing, Statistics, Management, and English for four months .
Graduate School Holds Faculty Meeting
A general faculty meeting was held Sept. 1 to orient the teachers on the
academic policies of the graduate school. Besides discussing the policies,
there was also a good exchange of ideas on how students should manage their
time and be able to meet the course requirements considering the fact that
the students work and study at the same time.
Mr. Rong Chong Talks on Research
After attending an international conference on research in the Philippines,
Mr. Rong Chong, the dean of the faculty of Business at Norton University,
shared some ideas on Information and Data Utilization with Batch 1 MBA
students. This is to enhance the students perspective on Research , one of
the courses they are taking this semester. He emphasized on the use of the
primary and the secondary data and the proper quotes from an authority for a
scholarly work. There was a good response from the students and to some
extent the talk helped broaden the students' horizon in the area of
research.
A New Zealander from Cambodia Shared Time with the MBA Students
Mr. Farib Sos, a Cambodian by birth but New Zealander by nationality gave a
talk to all the MBA students last Sept. 13 at room AS1. He challenged the
students to do good in their studies because their knowledge can be their
credit card. Further, he encouraged everyone to be critical about what he
studies by questioning how the concepts relate to his everyday experiences.
As a professional, he has been to many jobs one of which is being the senior
lecturer in Marketing and Management at the Open Polytechnic in Wellington,
New Zealand. Mr. Farib Sos has been working in New Zealand for the past 29
years but his heart still belongs to Cambodia.
