Side one is the Blud Sausage e.p. and side two is an all live side that recorded in fall 1982 at the Mudd Club in New York and some other places. In concert we hear five of the seven songs from Crippled Children Suck plus "Meatmen Stomp", a dance song called "Buttocks" and an awesome song called "Middle Aged Youth" which has the line "mind control it starts at home/ plotting robots everyone" so it might have some kind of social message. Between songs, Tesco and the band say really gross and silly stuff and make a passing reference to spread scat even though the song "Spread Scat Boogie #2" isn't on here and even though the song has nothing to do with spread scat which happens to be a slang term for letting a girl diarhea shit all over your face. This album marks the end of the midwest period for the group and was released shortly after they broke up. Also take note, you might here 1 or even 2 or maybe even 3 people in the audience on this live recording. Apparently We're the Meatmen and You Suck! is among the who's who of early 80s punk lps. Well why not, it rocks and up to now has sold about 100,000 copies, which is kind of a lot in retrospect. Also of note, the original pressing with the original Maumee, Ohio address for Touch and Go records is a collectors item.
