This was an excellent show.... Unfortunately the best bits were mostly off camera. If you saw the show though i'm sure you'll think that Meat & the band were really great!!!!

Heres a small reveiw.......

            Managed to get to the Ian Wright show on Mon!!!! This was sooooooo coooolllll... ( I was totally panicking about this as I was told there was an age restriction of 18 ~ 25 & that you would need proof... Well this I obviously didnt have LOL... It was ok though as when I got there they didnt seem to be to bothered.. )

            Ian Wright had Caprice on with him doing stuff & an impressionist was on first. Then The Lighthouse family were on. Followed by Dale Winton who surprised me by being very funny..... Then came "Meat himself" First he done an interview which seemed to go on for ever, at one point he was mucking about with Ian Wright ( who is a football player) First he was headering nuts & then started to muck about with an apple!!!! He eventually kicked it & I managed to catch it!!!! ( So now Laura has a very bruised apple ~ LOL ) A lot of the interveiw  got cut as Meat sure knows how to talk LOL!!!!!!!!

         After the interview they sang "You took the words right out of my mouth" This show was much better than Smash hits as far as I was concerned!!!!! I was right in front of Meat & the stage was really small, so I was right near to all the band :-)) There was a lot of joking going on among the band & the rest of the people on the show. Sadly most of this was off camera ;-( One good bit was when the compare told the audience that in the song there was a clapping part etc etc... Meat stopped him & said that the audience didnt need to be told ~ they would do it anyway.... They had a £20 bet on this which I think went up to £40. Sure enough the audience did it!!!! At the end Meat asked for his money!!! They got Meat & the band to stay on stage after the song while they were setting up the next part of the show. Meat was talking a lot to people at this time.... He told the compere he would show him something ~ then he turned & said "Kas, Patti & Pearl show them" The three of them then started to sing ( I think this had to be the bit that made it such a great night for me!!!! ) You could hear Kas sing sooo well (as with the bit on Storytellers when he sings a small bit~ but here he done much more!!! ) This was the first time I had heard Kas sing on his own & it was excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the audience joined in & the compere started laughing. It was really good. also while this was all going on Kas, Patti & Pearl along with Meats manager were all doing a little dance on stage which was very funny ;-))))

After this Meat done another bit with Ian Wright by a piano ~  It was really good. Also there was a part on the show where all the guests recorded the 12 days of xmas, which they all done really well...
Meat done his last & was really good at it.... He had a few attempts & all of them were done different
