A word of warning: these summaries were prepared for my personal use, for the purpose only of identifying early residents of the areas with which this web site is concerned and storing some basic information about the source, location and structure of each family group and, for those who have moved away, their destinations. The materials which have been used in their preparation have been drawn, almost without exception, from public records; there has been no reference to individuals. Inferences which may not be valid have been drawn from the underlying materials. I am glad to share the summaries but any person who uses them must accept the responsibility for confirming every element of each summary used.
