What is Tribal Quest NorthWest?
--a gathering... a meeting of the tribes... a growing community of musicians, dancers, artists, families... a party...a five day festival
full of Tribal bellydance and it's fusion dances at their best! This is the third
annual dance festival in Portland, and last year it received a nomination for
Best Event of the year by Zaghareet Magazine!
Sponsored by Paulette Rees-Denis and Caravan Studio, the past two year's were
a sell out, with such amazing participation from around the country, and so here it is again! Featuring the Masters and Innovators of Tribal Bellydance, Indian
Gypsy Dance, Tribal Fusion and more! There are several dance, drum and percussion,
and henna workshops daily with these master teachers from around the county.
There are dance and music performances every night, the Thursday night Quest Cabaret,
late night suppers, dinner parties, music jams. And shopping from various vendors. There is a showcase highlighting participating dancers from
around the country. And the blowout Saturday night show with the workshop instructors and some of their troupes and musicians.
