I belly up to the bar and get a drink. I start talking to the bar tender. She's cool. She started hooking us up with free drinks. Yeah!!! Our name was called for our table. We leave. On the way out I see a sign for a DJ that night in the bar. They had a small dance floor. After dinner and more drinks I was having a case of happy feet so I convinced everyone to go back to the bar so I could dance.
The DJ sucked, the bar had around 20 people in it, and no one was dancing. I head to the bar for what I hope is another hook up on a drink. I got it. I am bound and determined to dance tonight. I spot someone who is moving a bit in her seat. I get the nerve up to ask her to dance. She accepts. It went well. Back to the bar.
A few songs later there's a light tap on my shoulder. Someone is asking me to dance. I'm flattered. Maybe there is something to my new found "Hunkness". :o) As we're dancing (The only one's on the floor), I see this guy looking at me. I ask my partner if she knows him. She says that's her husband.
Great I'm going to die. Turns out he's the one that put her up to asking me to dance. Nice. Back to the bar. A few songs later, the bartender grabs everybody's attention and announces they would have to wait a minute if they wanted a drink, she was going to have her dance with the "Cute" guy. I assume she's referring to me. Turns out she is. It's a slow song "Wonderful Tonight". We hit the floor.
Her right hand is in my left, her left hand on my back, my right on hers. We start dancing. I feel her hand slid from the middle of my back to my lower back. Crap it's moving again. It's on my right cheek now, and it's not the one on my face. Good Lord, she just grabbed my ass.
Here's the kicker. Out all the people in the bar my friends and I are the only ones under the age of 55! You guessed it, my dance partners were all "Blue Hairs". I have finally found my niche.
Parents lock up your mothers, Richard is loose and on the hunt. "I'm just a gigolo and everywhere I go people know the part I'm playing, pay for every dance, selling each romance, Oh what they're saying......"
Oh the life I lead. It wasn't how I thought the night would be, but it was fun nonetheless.
