Normalcy continues

But is that necessarily good? Well, it did get me to watch some fun movies over the last week, including "Swingers", "Gross Pointe Blank" and "Army of Darkness" – all of which are required viewing. But it also brought back those common traits of tiredness and boredom, particularly at work. And of course, there are some definite continuing trends of badness – stock market dropping and layoffs.

On a more personal level, my ability to scare women off without even doing anything has returned. Upon exiting the elevator the other day, a woman looked at me and promptly screeched, "HA!" and then got in. However, I have managed to continue getting good luck in the raffles here at Deere. Today, I won again.

Now the weekend approaches and I’m faced with the norm returning. My feet hurt, but I’ll be able to watch football again. Thank God for that, otherwise I might almost have to turn to the most heinous of sports-watching activities – The Canadian Football League. Ugh. Though I’m spared such a horror, I will enter another weekend on dog patrol: 7 crazy dogs, 2 tiny humans and a whole lot of dominance battles to ensue.

Jedi Master Columbo: One more question…

Me: Oh, for the love of …

JMC: How will you be able to control the dogs, or even survive, on such bad feet?

Me: ?!

Have a great weekend,
