Memorial Day Weekend - Go Canes! (1/1)

We return from our golf adventure and decide we haven't had enough exercise. So we throw the Frisbee around. Well, I brought a nice disc golf disc (actually a super soft rubber putter). The good news is it's easy to throw. The bad news it flies far. And fast.

Perhaps we're too old for a simple game of catch? I don't know but I sure as hell was tired, sweating and winded. The sun was beating us down as well and some of the knackers in the mobile home section were cheering for us.

Eventually folks returned from the various hikes. Man, did they look beat. I mean, whipped. Fortunately Julie and Louis still had enough energy to cook, so we all got to eat. After that, it was out to the local sports bar to watch the Canes.

Sadly, the game wasn't that good. We packed the place, but that didn't seem to inspire the team to play better than flat. Seeing that futility and being bored, I turned to darts. Normally this is a bad plan - for me and anyone else nearby. However, in this case I was some enclosed and the floor already had holes so I wasn't worried.

I'm bad at darts. I mean, bad. How bad? Well, Chris won't let me play in his house anymore, and he had a 4' x 4' piece of cardboard behind the board. Also, I got whipped by a 5 foot nothing woman this weekend. Granted, I wasn't too put out by this. She was cute and I got to sit in a chair the while time so I wasn't caring much (for those wondering how bad it was, we played Cricket and I lost 296-16 but down only 1 bullseye when she finally cleared all). Fortunately to save face, we had a rematch in which I was still able to sit, she was tired and she let me win. At least I hope she did, because no one should lose to me, ever (even if I did cheat and switch hands).

The Canes did lose and we all returned to the campsite. I think I heard a bunch of drunken debauchery, but I don't know. I was tired from all this 'camping', lol, and went to bed.
