How to apply my MBA knowledge

Well, they tell us we should go out and make the world a better place. Specifically by doing some business related thing like improving processes, finding the next marketable item, or reducing costs. Whatever. Let's talk about real change.

Revamping the car. No, not a particular car - like a Ford Mustang, or even a particular group - like SUV. I mean, the whole automobile industry. And I'm not talking some stupid shit like 100mpg or electric crap. I mean, something important.

Blinkers. Yep, those little yellow things that are supposed to come on when you signal to turn. Except you don't. And that's the point. No one does. Damn everyone of those bastards who doesn't, and the idiot that made them thinking it would help.

It actually seems to be a nuisance, a cost, and a danger. It's a nuisance because you constantly have to get them checked, you actually have to use them, and that little stick in the steering wheel gets in the way sometimes. It's a cost because it's more electrical wiring and assembly in a vehicle, more things to get inspected and a pain to replace. It's a danger because some of us naively assume others will use them.

So my pitch to the Big Three is to get them to revert to the old days of no blinkers. People will just have to learn to point that finger out as well as up.
