DETAILS: While the introductory screens and videos for MechWarrior run in a window on the WINDOWS 95 desktop, the COMBAT ("cockpit") screen runs at a full screen 512x384 resolution. This behaviour CANNOT be changed. The resolution setting in "Display Properties" has NO AFFECT on the combat display. Color depth is also NOT AFFECTED by the settings in "Display Properties". The refresh rate for the 512x384 resolution is NOT adjustable by any means. It is fixed at 70Hz. --------------------------------------------------------------------- SOLUTION: If problems are encountered with the sizing and positioning of the MechWarrior combat screen the MONITOR CONTROLS for SIZE and POSITION must be adjusted. (Digitally controlled monitors with memory should be able to store parameters for the mode.)
