The Hedonist's Biography
After Hours
The night drifts into the morning
as a brand new day is dawning,
the nine muses are out to play,
all with something special to say,
Calliope has come to smoke the dope,
helping everyone to easily cope,
Clio has just powdered her nose,
she knows that anything goes,
Erato is starding to get erotic,
stopping all from going catatonic,
Euterpe the patron of joy and pleasure
is there as a lady of leisure,
Melpomene is tryng to avoid the tragedy,
slowly wafting into a hazy melancholy,
Polyhymnia is confidently waxing lyrical,
as the day walks into the confessional,
Terpsichore is dancing to the beat,
no longer sitting tapping her feet,
Thalia lightening the mood with a joke,
taking her time with a good long toke,
Urania sharing her celestial wisdom,
as all get caned to kingdom come.
