Paul Michael Stafford's Biography
Battle Of Spirituality
When the sheep graze in forbidden pastures,
The cries of a newborn babe will be heard,
As the Serpent sharpens his tongue
And the Dragon flexes his wings.
Dark prophecy will walk the lands,
False words preached by fallen pastors,
As the meaning behind visions is blurred,
To the echo of the millennium gong.
On his horse the Reaper, death brings,
The lives of the damned in his hands.
The Morning Star and The Star Of The Morning,
Will be calling for our souls,
Singing songs that pull at our heart,
Weaving words that test our discernment,
Asking us the truth to choose.
Spirituality not a bauble for adorning,
Lost fish swimming in scattered shoals,
Or designer labels for our souls.
We need to tell the truth and lies apart,
Not worry about where our youth went,
Or whether our team will win or lose.
Look for revelations at the end,
Within their visions hide secrets,
Waiting for enlightenment to be found,
To shed it's light across the globe,
A guiding beacon for all to see,
To help our souls to ascend,
Without worry or regrets.
So beware when the kings are crowned,
And the stars choose their abode
For the battle of spirituality.
