Not So Blank Verse
History

As this earth turns day by day,
time seems to float away,
the sand sifting through God's hand,
as mankind walks the land,
categorising everything he sees,
from time, place to trees,
they write it all down in a book,
every word said and finger shook,
and categorise it as history,
but the crux is you see,
who writes these things down ?
normally appointed by the crown
in the days gone by,
before planes were in the sky,
but with the computers of today,
everybody can have their say,
will it make the past easier to see ?
or confuse it with IT imagery ?
