In The Beginning

In The Beginning there was an energy known as the beat,

and it was good;

Then the liquid was born and it was known as Alcohol,

and it was good;

Then the herb was grown and it was known as Weed,

and it was good;

And the Mushrooms were picked and they were known as magic,

and they were good;

Man made empires and Cocaine was found, it was known as Charlie,

and it was good;

The upper class made the lower class, diets were formed and science created amphetamine sulphate, it was known as Speed,

and it was good;

MDMA sunbathed in the sun of the 20th century and pillheads were born, they were known as Clubbers,

and they were battered;

And on the seventh day they twitched and cabbaged,

and they came down.
