Quadtrifrain
Quadtrifrain is a modern poetic form, created and used by Calliope's Place resident poet mediablast, that consists of four stanzas, each stanza containing six lines, with a refrain splitting the lines.
Missing
A scent on the air,
her hair,
the flow of a curtain,
her hair,
empty hands as night,
her hair.
Ripples of playground laughter,
her smile,
rain on the subway,
her smile,
naked sand castles in December,
her smile.
The feel of a spider web,
her caress,
rain down my spine,
her caress,
sheets on the floor,
her caress.
Notes on the fridge,
no more,
lipstick on the table,
no more,
the comfort of love,
no more.
