Calliope's Biography
The Final Stand
The darkness is in retreat,
tail tucked between it's legs,
as the light strolls across the land,
a chorus of birdsong it's welcome,
with the glorious multitudal hues.
Darkness in a battle it will always lose,
the new day strutting with aplomb,
time slightly ahead of the sand,
in the distance, darkness' dregs,
finally admitting defeat.
