Wildflower Of The Heart
Love grows in our hearts,
like a wildflower in a pasture;
it invades uninvited,
spreading it's thorny roots,
into the tenderest parts;
it's beauty holding us in rapture,
like a squire newly knighted,
until up springs it's shoots,
and the beauty is there,
in the open air,
a life all of it's own,
emotion impossible to clone.
