A new harpacticoid copepod, Parastenocaris curvicauda n. sp., is described from material collected from cave waters of Bulgaria. The new species fits the "minuta" group sensu Lang (Lang.).
The species Parastenocaris jeanneli Chappus is new to the fauna of Bulgaria.
