DINOSAURES IN ANTARCTICA

For those who would have any doubts about the possibliliy of antarctica having been inhabited in the past, here is an wxtrait of an article found in New scientist.

Dinosaurs in Antarctica... ?!

The dinosaur fossils include a large plant-eating sauropod, a flying pterosaur, small scavengers and an large carnivorous dinosaur with a pair of horns and a crest. …

A few smaller meat-eating dinosaurs had horns.

The Antarctic dinosaur is 8 to 9 metres long, shorter than the 12-metre Allosaurus of the late Jurassic.

The fossils were found at about 85 degrees South, about 500 kilometres from the South Pole.

Other dinosaur fossils have been found closer to the ancient poles.
