POST 911
WHO WE ARE

Because of recent allegations/incidences of abuse occurring in other explorer posts (not ours), AMR of King Co. has decided that the social contact between AMR employees and youth that occurs in an Explorer program is too risky, and Post 911 has been shut down.

Explorer Post 911 is a program for youth ages 14 to 21 who are interested in a career in the medical field. We are sponsored by American Medical Response and the Boy Scouts of America. Post 911 offers a fun and supportive environment for youth to gain practical career skills, leadership training and volunteer experience. We provide training in a variety of first aid and medical topics, opportunities to volunteer at community events, and tours of local hospitals and emergency medical facilities. Members have gone on to become EMTs, firefighters, Paramedics, Doctors, Nurses and Medical Technicians.
