27 November 2001: Elke's sick

Now it's Elke's turn to get sick... hopefully the hospital won't need to get involved.

UPDATE (30/11/2001): Elke's ok now. No hospital needed.

27 November 2001: We finally got our new sofa

This morning our new sofa arrived. It is really comfy. Elina has been bouncing around on it all day. It folds out into a double bed so if you want to visit, you'll have somewhere to sleep .

27 November 2001: Pauli's birthday

Today it was Pauli's birthday. He's really old now.

25 November 2001: Mamma became a snowball...

Elina: Today we went out in the snow... Mamma and dadda were throwing snowballs at each other. When mamma bent over to pick up some more snow dadda noticed that her skin was showing on her back so he quickly stuffed some snow up her jacket. She was jumping around trying to get the snow out, then she tried to return the favour to dadda but she fell flat on her face, another great opportunity for dadda to stuff some more snow up mamma's jacket. When mamma got up she had snow everywhere, even in the right eye of her glasses.

23 November 2001: Farmor's birthday

Elina: Today it was Farmor's birthday. She's really old now.

22 November 2001: Dadda came home from hospital

Elina: Today they finally let dadda come home from hospital. He's feeling better now but the told him to stay home for another week to get some rest.

20 November 2001: Paaa's birthday

Today it was Paaa's birthday. He's really old now.

18 November 2001: Dadda's in hospital

Elina: This morning Pasi took dadda to the doctor and next thing we know, he's in hospital. They thought it might be Appendicitis, Pneumonia or Menengitis but the test all came back negative so no-one really knows what's wrong.

16 November 2001: Dadda's sick as a dog

Elina: Tonight after work dadda was sick as a dog (that means he was really sick).

15 November 2001: It's very windy

This evening the wind really picked up. Lot's of big tress have fallen there have been power outages in areas... luckily we weren't affected

11 November 2001: The snow's just about gone

The snow goes a lot quicker than it comes.

8 November 2001: Now it's really snowing

It's starting to get white outside now :)

1 November 2001: It snowed today

Today it was so cold that it snowed. Not enough to make the ground white but that will come later.
