JRIC 39A Autoclave Fully Automatic Vertical (Make OSWORLD J. R. Industrial Corporation)
Double Body - has single chamber for steam and water, covered externally by outershell. Inner body made of heavy guage stainless steel LM 304 grade, outer shell made of SS, lid made of thick stainless steel pressure up to 22 PSI. Complete unit with automatic air purging digital temperature control and indication with 0.1 ° C accuracy/resolution, with electronic digital timer range 0 to 99 minutes. Autoclaving time cycle automatically starts when set pressure is achieved. Automatic steam release once autoclaving cycle complete. Water level cutoff : Low water level cutoff assembly connected to heater which automatically cuts off power to the heater if water level is not sufficient thus reducing heater burn outs.

Photofluorometer Make Systronics

It is designed for use in routine or research work in various applications --- Medicine, Agriculture, Industry and others. An accurate and sensitive instrument, it can be operated without special skill or training.
Fluorescence is basically the instantaneous emission of light from a molecule (or atom) which has absorbed light. When a solution containing the molecules of interest is irradiated with light of a selected wavelength, it absorbs and releases the absorbed energy as radiation at longer wavelength. The radiation is given off at all angles but is usually collected at right angles to the primary light beam to reduce the effects of scatter from the sample. This energy is passed through a narrow bandpass filter and allowed to fall on a sensitive photodetector. The electrical output of the photodetector is amplified and fed into a moving coil meter. Calibration is performed on a comparative basis against standards of known concentration.
In Photofluorometer 151, the light source is a tungsten-halogen lamp operating on regulated 12V DC. The exciting wavelength is selected by the "primary" filter (wavelength of 366 mm or 440 mm) which is inserted between the lamp and the sample test-tube. The energy given off by the sample )at longer wavelength than the primary wavelength) is transmitted through a secondary filter and detected by a photocell.
The photocell output is amplified by an IC amplifier and fed into moving coil meter. A control on the front panel enables adjustment of amplification. Additionally, a fine controls provided to precisely set the meter against the standard solution of known concentration. Another control suppresses the reading from background fluorescence and scatter.
The instrument is housed in a sturdy metal cabinet and finished in two-tone stove-enamel. The lamp is cooled by an internally mounted fan.
