But I believe we are born with a power to heal our wounds, not through miracles but through a silent voice that speaks to us from within ourselves and won’t be stilled, a voice that tells us where to go and what to do, which is a miracle of another kind. It is the refusal to heed that inner voice that causes the incurable sickness of the soul, which makes us wither before our time.
