Youthanasia 1994 |
It was Megadeth's time to let themseles be known. In the pinnacle of the Grunge era, Megadeth broke out with Youthanasia. It wasn't really a big release in the US, in my mind, but it was huge in Japan. The Japanese ate the album up. Later in the year, the world would lose a true genius, in the presence of Kurt Cobain. Afterwards, the Grunge era died out and pop/punk bands like Green Day broke out and sucked. Megadeth would be touring and recording material for the next album. |
