Megaman Battle Network was the first game in the fourth Megaman series. First there was the original Megaman series, the second was the Megaman X series, next was the Megaman Legends series (only three games were released), and now the Megaman Battle Network series. This Megaman is an RPG style game that is really cool.
There are two worlds on this planet earth: the real world and the internet world. Humans inhabit the real world, and programs called "Navis" live in the internet world. These Navis are little robot-like programs that can speak, think, and feel pain and emotions. Each Navi is operated by a person in the real world. People in the real world use cool portable computers called a PETs to store their Navi in, keep track of email, and use as a cell phone. Each PET has a cord used to plug into computers or anything electronic so they can send their Navi into the internet to do.......whatever they want, I guess.
The main heroes in the Megaman Battle Network games are Megaman and Lan. Megaman is a special Navi operated by Lan. Lan's father is a scientist who studies and creates Navis. He created Megaman to be a very powerful Navi for his son, Lan. He's a dork.
