Name: Chance Furlong

Calsign: T-Bone

Age: mid-twenties

Gender: Male

Status: SWAT Kat

Physical Description and Characteristics: Showing off a brawny side that would depict his attitude, T-Bone appears as a tall, yellowish tabby with brown stripes that are shown on both sides of his arms. Bright, green eyes leap out from beneath the black mask he wears when he's in his SWAT Kat uniform, and a dangerous smirk he's famous for comes along with the package. As Chance Furlong, he's shown as a caring and loving yet tempermental tomkat, as well as a helpless romantic. While he may try to win the girls over with his charm, his partner's shy attitude will end up striving for victory... one fact that this tabby doesn't like to tolerate. As a mechanic, it doesn't take his partner's ability to invent to get in this tomkat's way when it comes to fixing. While Jake thinks up a new missile design, Chance will be fixing any outer flaws his precious Turbokat may have. This also goes to working at the Salvage Yard. Given the right lessons at the Academy, Chance has no trouble at all fixing a car in need of serious tinkering. Trouble with your car? He has the name for whatever flaw it may have. Even though he may try not to let his super-ego get the best of him, T-Bone won't stop at anything to let MegaKat City know that's he's the best pilot that ever lived... well, after the Blue Manx and Red Lynx, or so he claims...

Relationships: best friend and partner to Jake Clawson

History: Born and raised in Megakat City, Chance Furlong had one ambition in life: to become the best pilot known, reaching out after his "heroes," MegaWar II pilots, the Red Lynk and the Blue Manx, and his comic book heroes, the Kat Kommandos. This is what sent the young kat to the Enforcer Academy and into training, where he'd rendevous with his partner and best friend, Jake Clawson. Luck would soon make an abrupt turn and give both of them a cold shoulder during a mission that would be their last at the Enforcers.

While pursuing Dark Kat, the twosome disobeyed Commander Feral's orders to disengage. Jake's missiles were locked on their target. To fall back meant to risk losing the criminal mastermind. Furious at their insurbordination, Feral recklessly manuveured his jet around the young Enforcer's craft, clipping its tail and sending the other jet into a dive.

Jake and Chance ejected to safety, but their jet collided with the newly constructed Enforcer Headquarters. Commander Feral wasted no time in blaming the twosome for the incident and hustling them off his force and into the city's military salvage yard to spend the next eternity paying of the multimillion dollar debt. Seeing this as a cruel turn of events that he did *not* expect in his life-time, Chance just about gave up hope on his dream... that is, until his partner saw a way to take them back into the air without any rules or regulations on their backs. Liking the idea as soon as Jake mentioned the words "we'll build our own jet," Chance pitched in and helped build the most powerful weapon in MegaKat City.

Now a SWAT Kat where he has been sworn to protect his birthplace, Chance pilots the TurboKat under his alias, and, even though it may not be under his actual persona, there is no doubt that the tabby managed to land his dream... with or without the Enforcers.

What he's known for:

The pilot. The hot-shot. Someone you wouldn't wanna get too close to if he's in a bad mood. This brawny tabby pilots the Turbokat, reaching heights that perhaps no other kat has been to before (much is the discomfort to Razor's stomach). He tends to "leap before thinking," making him more of a daredevil than a philosopher.
T-Bone is the short-tempered, somewhat egotistical half of the SK team. Just try any feeble attempt to get him upset and he'll blow like a barrel loaded with gun powder... that is if you're trying to take over Megakat City, trying to arrest him for causing havoc, or tampering with his precious Turbokat without permission. However, beneath that mask and dangerous smirk lies a kat with a heart bigger than the jet he pilots, maybe even bigger than the city he saves almost everyday. T-Bone won't let anything get in his way, and the more dangerous the situation is, the better.
