He prefers to deal with science and reality, rather than magic and imagination. Sometimes he's taken to writing stories and fables, though he is rather inept at expressing lessons and emotions. Highlights (The Ugly Duckling episode) Wani invents a flying machine which is run by hand-driven pedals. It works well, even though a gust of wind snaps its wings and makes Wani lose control... at the end of the episode, Wani brings out his trusty sketchpad and redesigns it. Who knows what the machine could have become? Developments After the Series Snakes have always had a magical heritage from birth. The upright standing stance, and the two floating hands were important to a snake as his name. Wani tried to escape by studying science. However, a fragment of his past threatens to catch up with him... Name Analysis (Filipino dubbed) Wani is half of a Filipino expression for "I don't know" or "Go ahead, find out yourself". (Japanese) The expression "Nyoyori" is associated with the snake coming out of its hole.
