Brother and I love to listen to music. Sure we have varying tastes (his is anime and j-pop music, mine is western music) but we agree that some of the music we listen to just jives with some of the things we do, games we play, or books we read! Here are our ideas for songs that would go well while sitting at your lovely chair, reading a nice good issue of WITCH.
Hey! If you have any cool music ideas, email us at megan_and_percival (at) yahoo (dot) com, and we'll see to it that your idea goes here!
Megan's Picks:
- Moonlight Shadow
- (Sung by Maggie Reilly/Music and Lyrics by Mike Oldfield)
- (issue #1, or the issue where Cornelia's crush gets taken away)
- This song is simply magical. Of course no one gets shot by a gun, so just ignore that part.
- You need two versions of the song. The original slow one, and the upbeat remix which came out on the soundtrack of Initial D (which Percival got).
- You can play the slow version of the song while nothing exciting is happening. When a battle scene or chase happens, switch to the fast version.
- Lyrics
- My Immortal
- (Sung by Evanescence)
- (Will's or Taranee's image song)
- When you cried, I wipe away all of your tears...
- Lyrics
- Here With Me (Theme from "Roswell")
- (Sung by Dido)
- (for reading the comic in general)
- Oh I am what I am/I'll do what I want/But I can't hide...
- Lyrics
Percival's Picks:
- Night of Fire
- (from Initial D Soundtrack)
- (Issue #1)
- The connection to fire and the disco (and even the "rocket rocket"!) should be evident.
- Lyrics
- Prism
- (from Card Captor Sakura Character Songbook)
- (for easy reading)
- A very relevant, meaningful, and figurative slow song. Highly recommended.
- Lyrics
- Radical Dreamers ~Without Taking the Jewel~
- (from the game Chrono Cross)
- (for reading the comic in general)
- Another slow and meaningful piece. Check it out.
- Lyrics
- Ultra High Heels (preferably the "Super Eurobeat Version")
- (from Para Para Paradise 2nd Mix and Beatmania IIDX 4th Style)
- (for reading the comic in general)
- A very, very lively love song.
- Lyrics
