The Chicago Theatre is nice... reminiscent of Detroit's State Theatre, except that the Chicago has seats on the main floor, and the State doesn't. Speaking of seats... ours were pretty far back (Row J), but I still got an aisle seat! |

The show was scheduled to start at 8pm Chicago time, however it didn't start till almost 9pm. Go figure... concerts never start on time anyway. Finally, a U.S. Cellular employee came to the stage and introduced the band. AS IF they even needed an introduction! The band opened with "Naked." Other songs on the set list included "Long Way Down," "Name," "Lucky Star," and "Big Machine." Somebody said there were 22 songs played total. Yeah! |

Mandy, Lindsay, Jillian, and I were near the end of the line, but hey, save the best for last, right?
Anyway, after waiting FOREVER, Mike finally came out. He is really nice! He wrote a funny little note on one of my checks, AND signed my ticket stub! |

After Mike, John Rzeznik came out. He was escorted by bodyguards or whatever, but that was expected. He was friendly, and we "rubbed elbows." He signed a record for my sister, for her birthday. Ten bucks says he didn't believe it was actually for her... or her birthday! Haha, either way, he was friendly. |

Robby came out last. Let me tell you, this man has ENERGY on stage! It's awesome! When he finally got to me, we rubbed elbows. He was like, "Rubbing elbows... this is COOL! Y'know what we should do? We should rub noses, too! WE CAN BE LIKE ESKIMOS!" It was very funny; he was friendly! |

*Mandy's Story*
The lady ahead of us in line pulled down her pants and had Robby sign her butt cheek. Mandy was appalled! She was like, "I can't believe you did that!" to Robby. He was like, "I'm SO sorry you had to see that! I didn't know what to do!" He put his arm around her and just started talking on an on! The bodyguard was trying to hurry him on, but to no avail! It was quite funny! Yay for Robby! |

By the time we reached the car, it was 2am in Detroit. Naturally, I had to call home again. Needless to say, my family was *really* pleased... ha! |

On the way back to Michigan, we got pulled over! Not once, but TWICE... by the SAME officer! Smooth. |
