Why You Should Read the 1-800 Series

It took me forever to get the 1-800-Where-R-U series. After all, it's practically impossible to find them in regular bookstores, so you're pretty much forced to buy them online. I'm sure many of you out there are wondering, "Are these books worth it?"

Yes, they are. I am totally serious here. If you are in any way, shape or form remotely a fan of Meg's books, you will love this series too. They're funny and interesting, packed with action, and, as in all Meg books, there's an incredibly hot guy (Rob).

There's Jess, the main character. She's not quite an average "townie" from Indiana. She's got attitude (and a killer right hook), a mother who makes her wear matching mother-daughter homemade dresses, a dad who promises to buy her a Harley if she wears her mother's look-alike dresses, not to mention seven weeks of detention, not counting the extra week she got this morning. And when she gets struck by lighting and is left with the amazing ability to find missing children, Jess's life becomes even stranger. While she tries to get the FBI off her back and Rob to go out with her, Jess is also wrapped up in finding missing children, which makes for a totally interesting story.

My only regret about this series? Well, it's that there are only four of them!
