Brief: To design a web-site for Pantaloons for their biggest retail chain in India.

Process:

Initial Research:

We did extensive study of the Pantaloons store in Ahmedabad, where we observed and recorded the colors around, the ambience, people, their behavior, range and variety of products being displayed. It was then compared with competitive stores like Westside and Jade Blue in the same city.

Analysis:

Brainstorming happened with all words popping out that we associated with the store experience of Pantaloons. We then looked at various web-sites of similar malls like Zara, Kmart and Wall-mart on the Internet, after which we performed a comparative analysis. Two words were selected ‘Big' and ‘Desire'.

Conceptualization:

Using the words we created an advertising campaign for Big Bazaar through posters. Finally we created the site where we photographed the pictures to be put on the site from an angle where they looked large, excessive, ample, exorbitant.
