Battle
by Yaso Hawk of Ravenclaw
Alone I stand
A ghost behind
A girl ahead
And a snake between us all
I hear him call
Attack attack
And I fell I shall fall
Then a beacon of hope came to me
It came in the form of a phoenix
And a phoenix carryig a hat
At that
But soon I saw it's purpose
For in the hat there was potential
The phoenix swooped and gave to me the hat
Then it dived on top of the snake and made it as a bat
Soon the hat met its potential and out a sword from its brim
The sword was jeweled at the hilt and seemed ready for battle
I picked it up and pointed it towards the beasts head
The snake never winced and dived for a strike
It struck my arm but I struck its brain
And we both fell to the floor
It looked dead but not I
I was just torn
Then the beacon came to me with red feathers high
And droped a tear on my scar then I felt just fine
Then I saw the ghost who snickered and sneered
Yet ablivious to him I knew the secret
I took the book out of the girls hands
And struck it with a fang that almost killed me
Ink flew around like black blood
And the ghost was torn
And light erupted from his new wounds
And soon he was gone
No longer a problem
But yet he wasn't truly gone
Yet we all felt better
Knowing that one of his chances was foiled
