| Moaning Myrtle was walking around the halls of Hogwarts looking for Peeves to play mean tricks on Harry, Ron, and Hermione, when she saw two young men with bright red hair joking around and running with wands casting silly spells on each other. One had an F for Fred, and the other a G for George. "I've got you now!" said Fred, lifting his wand and mumbling a spell. George ran past Fred and Moaning Myrtle floated in the air carelessly when she looked at her ghostly tail...it wasn't there! She watched the rest of her body begin to go away. "You two young men are in big trouble!" she yelled. "And for whatever reason you cannot restore my ghostly self back... you will come every day as soon as school lets out to go to Gryffindor tower's ladies room and clean my toilet!" she said making it clear the boys would not get away with it. "George, do you know how to undo Moaning Myrtle?" Fred asked George in hope. "I don't...okay, Monaing Myrtle, you win! See you on Monday." George said. "And I'd better see you by the time your last lesson lets out..." she said calmly but in a way made it also sound like she meant it. Moaning Myrtle sighed and said to herself, "Almost lost your temper there, old girl. Well, I better be back to my toilet." She went down the halls taking her time and making sure that none of the kids walked through her because she was invisible. She worked her way into the ladies room with only three or four kids walking into her. "Aahh--life doesn't get much better than this," she said floating in her toilet. She heard the door of her rest room begin to open. "I'm warning you!" she squeaked shyly. The door of her rest room opened. The girl couldn't see Moaning Myrtle and Moaning Myrtle was afraid the girl would go to the bathroom on top of her....suddenly her ghostly self returned and the girl began to scream and ran out. "Whew! That was close!" she said as she pulled out her OUT OF ORDER sign and put it on top of the toilet water outside her restroom and sat back in her toilet and began to splash and make a mess. |
