Author's Note: OK this is not my first attempt to write a story, not to brag or anything, but I can do very great on some stories! :-) Anyway, just to make this short, I don't care what you say about this sotry cause it is mine! You hear me, MINE! Now no flames please! Good-Bye!

Part I

            It all started when a child was born into the place we call earth. This child was special in a way all children would have wanted. She was born into the family of the Tigers, who were the most powerful and magical family on earth. Her name was Tess Tara Tiger. And Tess was to be remembered for decades and decades. Because there was a story in Tess's family, which had been told for years and years, everyone in the magical world knew it too. The story started out as this - In the Tigers family, it has been true that the five-thousandth child to be born in the Tiger family will be a gifted child. She or He is to have the most powerful magic ever on earth in the past, present, and future. She or He will know every spell there is to know, and will be able to make anything at all happen. She or He is to live for a thousand years and then will die; this gifted child will not be able to do this stuff till their eleventh birthday.
           So that is the story that has been told in the Tigers family and all the other magical families too. And that special child was born on October 7, 1988. And her name was Tess Tara Tiger.
*~*~*~*11 years later*~*~*~*~
           "Tess where are you! It is time for dinner!" called Tess' mother from the kitchen.
           "Coming mother!" Tess shouted from her room.
           Tess ran from her room to the dinning room, for dinner. When she entered the room, her family and friends jumped out from chairs and tables and started singing "Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Tess! Happy Birthday to you!" then Tess blew out the candles on her birthday cake.
           "Thanks for coming everyone!" she said. She was so happy! She never had a surprise birthday party before!
           After cake, Tess started opening her presents. She got a Brittany Spears CD, Nintendo 64, portable CD player, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff!
*~*~*~*3 hours later*~*~*~*
           "Bye everyone! Bye, see ya soon!" Tess shouted out the doorway as everyone left. She felt so happy! Because she knew that her eleventh birthday is the one was waiting for, ever since she found out that she was the five-thousandth child in the Tiger family!
           Tess was the happiest in the whole world; she was the most powerful witch (or wizard for the matter) in the world! And the best of it was that she was going to Hogwarts next week!
*~*~*~*September 1st*~*~*~*
           "Bye mom, bye dad! I'll write to you everyday!" Tess shouted as she stepped onto the Hogwarts Express. She hauled her trunk till she found the emptiest compartment.
           "Do you mind if I join you?" She asked a black haired boy, and a red headed boy; as she entered the last compartment there was. And now that she thought of it; the black haired boy was kinda cute.
           "Sure, we don't mind" the black haired boy answered. (Oh my gosh! I forgot what to tell you what Tess looks like! Silly me, I just forgot! OK; she has brown hair that is long, she is medium height and her eyes are the color of the ocean.)
           "My name is Ron Weasley, and this is Harry Potter and we are--" but Ron couldn't finish, because I cut him off.
           "Harry Potter! The Harry Potter! It's a pleasure to meet you!" I held out my hand as quickly as possible.
           "Hello," he seemed a little embarrassed.
           "So what is your name?" He asked me.
           "Oh, my name," I felt a little stupid. "It's Tess Tiger."
           Then Ron said, "That Tess Tara Tiger! It's wonderful to meet you!" He said, then held his hand out quickly.
           "Hi," I said. I was prepared for people acting that way around me.
           "Um, not to sound stupid, but who is Tess Tara Tiger anyway?" Harry asked.
           "She is the most famous witch of all time! And you're the most famous wizard of all time! My what a resemblance!" Ron said sarcastically.
           "Oh shut up!" Harry playfully punched him.
           Then at that moment a girl with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes; and was tall came racing into the room. And she seemed very pretty too...
           "Oh my gosh, have any of you seen a baby python come in here?" she said out of breath from running.
           "A python?" I said freaking out. "Why would someone bring a python to Hogwarts! It could eat someone!" I nearly shouted.
           "Cool a python! No I haven't seen one though. But if you find it can you let me see it?" Ron asked, but didn't seem very interested in the python, but he was staring at the mysterious girl though. At first I was like 'what is wrong with him?' Then I knew why he was staring at her! He likes her!
            "Hey what's your name?" Ron asked. "Mine's Ron Weasley, this is Harry Potter, and Tess Tiger." Ron finished.
            "Oh my name is Cassandra Lea Lyons, I'm a first year and I lost my stupid snake! When I find him I'm going to tell him never to leave me again!" She said, then smiled nicely. That seemed to almost make Ron faint! Then he went back to reality.
            "Your name is Cassandra Lea Lyons? The Cassandra Lea Lyons? It's great to meet you!" Ron held out his hand very quick, even quicker then for me! I wanted to know what's up.
             So I asked, "who is Cassandra Lea Lyons?" I asked, quite interested.
             "Wait! What do you mean tell your snake not to do it again?" Harry asked interested.
             "Well for one I'm a Parselmouth, which means I can talk to snakes." Cassandra said.
             "You are!" I said. "Wait I want to know what's so special about Cassandra Lea Lyons!" I nearly screamed.
             "OK, OK, I'll tell you, if you just don't say anything, OK? Ok, let's start. It started a few years back, and it started with Voldemort--"

Part II

            "I hate her, I hate her!" Tess shouted at Ron and Harry, after Cassandra left their compartment. She was so mad at Cassandra! Cause once she heard what was so special about Cassandra, she was so mad at her!
             "Who hates whom?" asked a girl just now entering their compartment.
             "I hate Cassandra Lea Lyons! And by the way my name is Tess." Tess said, still mad.
             "Who is Cassandra Lea Lyons?" The girl asked. Very interested is her.
             "And my name is Emily Kay." Emily finished.
             "Oh, well she is----;" but Tess got interrupted by Ron.
             "Let me tell her who she is! You will just make her sound evil!" Ron said sarcastically. "So, Cassandra Lea Lyons is, well---um? Her family is the second richest family in the world and, they are as just as powerful as Tess is, well almost as powerful. And her family has a habit of wanting to kill her family. And--" but he was interrupted by Tess.
             "She is evil, and she is only being nice because, she is trying to kill me!" Tess finished.
             "Ya right!" Harry said. "Wait Ron you forgot to mention the part about Voldemort." Harry said.
             "Don't say that!" Ron said angrily. "And well, the only reason her family is so powerful is because, He-who-must-not-be-named made an attack on her one night, but she lived, and that effected her whole family some how! So they're all so powerful now! That is just too weird!" Ron finished confused.
             "That is weird! I wonder why he tried to kill her?" Emily said very confused.
             "I have no idea." Harry said just as confused.
~*~*~*~*~3 hours later~*~*~*~*~
             "We're here!" A voice said from the loud speaker.
             "We're here? All read?!?" Harry rushed. Excited, nervous, and scared at the same time.
             "Oh great, what if I get into Slytherin!" Tess said nervously.
             "I hope I get into Gryffindor! My whole family has been in it!" Ron said scared.
             "What if they say I'm not a witch and they kick me out!" Emily said shaking!
              They all rushed out of their compartment, and out of the train onto the pavement outside.
              "Firs' year's over ear! Firs' year's over ear!" Called a giant, maintaining for the first years to come over there.
              Tess, Emily Ron, and Harry walked over there. "Harry! How' are yah? Have' a nice trip ear? Good!" Said the giant named Hagrid, as Harry had said.... All the first years followed Hagrid to some boats. "Four' people to on' boat!" Cried Hagrid.
              Harry, Ron, Emily, and Tess shared one boat. When they were pattering up to the castle, a boat went past them. And the people in it were Cassandra, a girl named Hermione, a boy named Neville, and another girl named Lavender. Cassandra smiled at Tess, and said "Hi! Did you have a nice trip? Tess nodded, and pattered faster, so she could get away from Cassandra, but Ron was holding her back by not pattering, but by just staring at Cassandra and smiling! 'Grosss! Sick! How disgusting!' Tess was thinking to herself. But anyway they made it to the castle. Hagrid knocked on the huge door. And a stern looking woman opened the door. 'Thank-you Hagrid, I can take them from here." She said to Hagrid.
              Professor Mcgonagall, that is when she said her name was, took them to the great hall. They all looked up at the ceilin and gasped, for the ceiling looked like it wasn't a ceiling at all! It looked exactly like outside! Then Professor Mcgonagall told them to line-up on the wall, then said that they all have to sit on the stool and put the hat on when they're name is called.
              "Boot, Terry" a boy stumbled out of line and put the old hat on. Then the hat called out "Ravenclaw!"
              And it was like that. Professor Mcgonagall finally called "Tiger, TEss" then people started saying stuff like "Tiger! Tess!"
              "Did she say Tess Tiger?"
              "THE Tess Tiger!"
              Then Tess came out of line and put the hat on.
              Gryffindor!" The hat yelled loudly.
              "We got Tiger! We got Tiger!" The Weasley Twins yelled from the Gryffindor table. Just as they did for Harry and Cassandra, when they were put in Gryffindor too.
              Then Ron was called to the hat too, and it yelled Gryffindor also.
              We were all so happy that Emily got into Gryffindor too! So did a girl named Hermione, and the girl named Lavender too. Also Neville, Dean Thomas, and a guy named Seamuse too.
              After the feast and all, Percy (Ron's older brother and prefect) took us up to Gryffindor tower. The password for that week was LemonDrop. Percy told us where the girls' dorms were and where the boys' dorms were too. Then we all went to our own dorms.
              When I went to my dorm and was about to go to sleep, Cassandra said, "What's wrong? You've been so silent lately? Are you sick or something?" She said concerned, but I knew it was an act.
              So I said, "No I'm fine, I'm just tired today." I said and went to sleep.
~*~*~*~*Morning*~*~*~*~
              "Wake up, wake up! It's time to get up and dressed for breakfast!" Cassandra was shakding Tess and shouting at the same time.
              "Whatever! You just want to wake me up and get me angry and tired!" Tess mumbled under her breathe.
              "Come on! You have to get up! Today is your first day at Hogwarts!" Cassandra said. Tess threw a pillow at her.
              "I don't care! I just want to sleep! Now leave me alone you evil woman!" Tess shouted at Cassandra.
             "I'll take just say that was the tiredness taking that time!" Cassandra said then smiled.
             "It wasn't the tiredness talking! You are evil! And you know it too!" Tess shouted at her, then stuck out her tongue.
             "Well I never! How dare you say that to me!" Cassandra said, then threw up her hands at Tess, then light shot from her fingers at Tess! Tess dodged the light. Then did the same to Cassandra! It went on and on like that for minutes.
              "Stop! Stop it! You're going to hurt someone!" Hermione screamed as she entered the room and spotted them fighting. Tess and Cassandra stopped and looked at Hermione. Then they turned to each other.
              "What's wrong with you guys?! I'm surprised that you haven't killed each other yet!" Hermione said very angry. Then she left the room for breakfast!
              "You started it!" Tess said to Cassandra.
              "I did not! You're the one who called me evil! And you know I'm not!" Cassandra shouted at Tess.
               "You to are evil! You know it too! And you started it because you're the one who's family is evil! And your trying to kill me! So you started it!" Tess yelled at Cassandra.
                "Who said that I'm trying to kill you?!" Cassandra said, souding very surprised.
                "Me! Your family is evil, and they always wanted to kill my family! And you have been acting all nice and concerned, and you have to admit that is suspicious!" Tess shouted at Cassandra.
                "Well you don't have to worry about that anymore! Cause I don't want to be your friend any more!" Cassandra said. "Besides the only reason I was being nice, is because Voldemorte---"
A/N: Oh! It has something to do with Voldemorte! How mysterious! And mocking too! Well before you ask, yes I'm going to make a third story! This is not a cliffhanger story! Well got to go! My mom said get off the computer or clean the bathroom! Gross! Of course I'm going to get off the computer! Why would I want to clean the bathroom! Bye!

Part III

                "We what?!" Tess shouted at Cassadra. "But, that's impossible! He would never be able to!"
                "Shhhhh, you don't want anyone to hear!" Cassandra said quietly to Tess. "Besides you still owe me an apology!"
                 "Oh yeah, sorry for thinking you were trying to kill me." Tess said, slightly red in the face. "I didn't know...."
                 "Know what?" said someone who just entered the room. Tess and Cassandra both turned to see who it was.
                 As they turned, the voice belonged to Hermione, with her hands on her hips. With meaningful look on her face.
                 "So what's the big secret? Huh?" Hermione said.
                 "Well you know how I said that she was only being nice to me, so she could kill me?" Tess asked, pointing to Cassandra.
                 "Yes" said Hermione, stilll glaring at them.
                 "Well she was only being nice, because, that, that, because Voldemort is trying to kill me!" Tess blurted out.
                  Hermione gasped in surprise. And put her hands to her mouth, and cleared her throat, and she said "I'm so sorry to hear that. But how did Cassandra know?" Hermione said looking at Cassandra and placing her hand on Tess's shoulder.
                  "Um, well, OK I can't keep it a secret anymore! Someone's going to find out sooner or later. So here it goes." Cassandra cleared her throat. "OK, you know how everyone says that I'm almost as powerful as you?" Cassandra nodded at Tess.
                 "Yeah?" Tess said.
                 "Well that isn't true, well OK here it goes, um, I am more powerful than you." Cassandra said very softly.
                  "That can't be possible! Because she is the powerful witch or wizard in the past, present, and future!" Hermione said.
                  "Well that is all wrong, because I had these powers ever since I was born!" Cassandra shouted back.
                  "No, you didn't! You're lying! You just want all the attention! Besides how could you be born with them! Voldemort attacked you, then you got the powers, and you weren't as powerful as me then, now, or ever!" Tess shouted so loud that the mirror rattled.
                   "Well that's because everyone got the wrong story mixed up! And you're whole family doesn't even know it!" Cassandra shouted at Tess.
                   "How could they get it wrong! Hug?" Tess told Cassandra.
                  "Well that's an easy one! Because you're last name is Tiger, and mine Lyons!" Cassandra said in a matter-of-fact tone of voice.
                  "That's a stupid excuse!" Tess shouted back.
                  "Is not! I got witnesses!" Cassandra said.
                  "Well you probably do, but they're dead!" Tess said, not even knowing what she had done, for Cassandra burst into tears and ran into the bathroom. Tess heard some gasps and turned around, and was shocked to see all the Gryffindors and Professor Mcgonagall, Dumbledore, and Sanpe all standing by the door watching!
                   "Well could I have a word with you Miss Tiger?" Professor Dumbledore asked nicely.
                  "Sure" Tess grumbled, walking out of the dorm with her head hanging.
~*~*15 minutes later*~*~
                  Tess entered Dumbledore's office and sat down.
                  "Well, I have heard you and Miss Lyons have been in a fight?" said Dumbledore.
                  "Yes professor, I'm sorry about that. And I wanted to ask you a few questions too." Tess said.
                  Dumbledore nodded. "You may." He said.
                 "Well was she really telling the truth?" Tess asked firghtened of what she might hear.
                 "Yes, Miss Tiger, I'm sorry to say that, but it is true." Dumbledore said slowly. "I hope you can understand that she was just trying to help." He finished.
                 "Yes I understand completely. And why did she start crying?" Tess asked with her head hanging low.
                 "Well you must know that her family was killed by Voldemort." Dumbledore said. "And that he was trying to kill her, but instead killed her family." Dumbledore finished slowly.
                  "And who were teh witnesses she was talking about?" Tess asked, interested.
                  "Well there was, Siris Black, Voldemort, and of course Professor Snape." Dumbledore said.
                  Tess let out a silent sigh of shock. "Pro, pro, fessor Snape! But how could he be a witness? It's impossible! Isn't it?" Tess said.
                  "Well it's possible, and they were witnesses, because Voldemort shouted it to Cassandra when Siris Black and Professor Snape were there." Dumbledore said.
                  "How could they be there?" Tess asked slowly.
                  "No one knows, only them. They won't tell anyone." Dumbledore said. "Well now, it is time for lunch, now off you go!" Dumbledore finished, looking at his watch.
~*~*20 minutes later after lunch*~*~
                   "Cass, I'm so sorry! I didn't know." Tess said to the bthroom door. Because Cassandra refused to come out.
                   "That doesn't make-up for what you did!" Cassandra shouted back.
                   "I really am sorry! I didn't mean it! I really didn't!" Tess sighed, then started for the door.
                   "You're going to have to pay me back! I mean it too!" Cassandra shouted, then started to step out of the bathroom. Her eyes were red and watery from crying. She looked so pitiful. Now Tess really was sorry for what she had said. Because looking at Cassandra made her feel like she was about to burst out in tears.
                    "What would you like?" Tess questioned her. Hoping it wouldn't be too hard to get.
                    "I want you to be my friend." Cassandra said simply.
                    Tess was shocked at this statement! "What! Is that all?!? Are you sure?" Tess asked, still unbelieving what she heard.
                    "Yes. I want you to be my friend." Cassandra replied. "If you want to that is." Cassandra said.
                    Tess answered, "yes. I'll be your friend."

Part IV

                 "Cassandra, I still don't understand you just want me to be your friend. You could have anything, at all!" Tess kept telling Cassandra over and over all week long! She was waiting for Cassandra to go bizerk! But she seemed to have her mind set on something else, which Tess couldn't figure out what.
                  Over the past week, everyone seemed to forget about the dorm episode. Almost everyone, except Malfoy, of course!
                   He kept on saying that Tess was crazy and thought she was powerful, when she was a little stupid girl! Which was a stupid remark!
                   "I will tell you some other time!" Cassandra kept repeating to Tess, to her question. Which when it was supose to drive Cassandra nuts, but it drove Tess nuts.
                   "Why can't you tell me now? Please tell me!" Tess said to Cassandra whenever she said that.
                   "I said another time!" Cassandra said very annoyed.
                   "Fine! But it better be soon!" Tess always said, then just left.
                   One night though Tess got threw to her. "Ok, just please tell me! I'll never ask again!" Tess begged.
                   "Fine." Cassandra finally said. Tess was very shocked.
                   "You mean you will? Great!" Tess said amazed.
                   "Well, I never told you before because I had some other things on my mind. Which I'll tell you about later. And the reason I just want you to be my friend. Is because I know that you didn't understand at first." Said Cassandra referring to the last week's episode. "And I just wanted you to be my friend in the first place, so I got what I wanted." Cassandra finished.
                   "That's all? After a week of begging, that's all I get?!? What a rip off!" Tess remarked, hoping Cassandra would tell her more. But she didn't, because that was all she had to say.
                   "Oh yeah, you said you would tell me about the other thing on your mind too you know." Tess finished.
                   "I know I said that, but I also said that I will tell you that later!" Cassandra smiled and left for their dorm.
                   "Urg!" Tess snorted, and followed after Cassandra.
~*~*~*The Next Morning*~*~*~
                   "Morning. So what classes do we have for today?" Tess asked as she sat down at the Gryffindor table for breakfast that morning.
                   "We have Potions first, then Charms, and the usual." Hermione replied. While reading her schedule for that morning.
                   "Potions, yuck!" Tess answered back.
                   "I agree." Ron said, while eating his eggs with a look of disgust on his face.
                   "Well, we only have 30 minutes of it today, because we're having an early lunch, because we have to go to be earlier, cause we have a quiz in Potions tomorrow." Harry said. "And have any of you seen Cassandra at all this morning?" Harrry finished, noticing Cassandra's absence.
                   "Not me." Ron said.
                   "Me either, she wasn't in the dorm this morning." Tess replied.
                   "What about you Hermione?" Harry asked Hermione.
                   "Huh? What?" Hermione said confused, because of not listening on the conversation. Cause she was still looking at her schedule.
                   "Nevermind," Harry replied.
                    Just then there was a big bang from outside the Great Hall! Some people screamed. Some others had confused expressions on their face.
                    "What's going on?!" Hermione asked.
                    "I have n...noo. Ideaaaa." Ron stuttered.
                    Tess nodded in agreement. And Harry looked shocked, then said, "do you think it's him?" Harry didn't even have to say who 'him' was.
                    Tess and Hermione changed frightened expressions. While Ron looked scared to death. Then there was another loud bang. Everyone screamed this time. Then the Hufflepuff table blasted away, with all the Hufflepuffs flying through the air. Some banged into walls and teh floor, and instantly sying while the others hit the walls and suffered in pain. It was a horrible site to watch. All the Ravenclaws screamed and started running towards the door, but never made it, because there were fireballs shooting towards them, and they all died in pain. The teachers and Gryffindors' screamed, including the Slytherins'.
                    The teachers pulled out their wands and ran out of the Great Hall, but the students heard more screams and blasts, which meant we will never see Professor Snape, Mcgonagal, or Dumbledore, and any of the others. The Slytherin's, and Gryffindor's were left alone. And at that moment there was a deadly silence. everyone was still hoping that the worst was over, but it was only the beginning.
